Loosing John was a tremendous blow to us all. Things started changing for musicians in NYC in the 80s and the great times we knew in the 70s and 80s were starting to come to an end. If I try to use the OCR software it has scanner greyed out and only file is an input option. When I go into photodelux and choose the 1236 scanner under "other" it lets me select it but then says it can't find the scanner.

I have downloaded all the latest drivers and reinstalled the software many times, all to no avail. I run OS 8.6 on the iMac and 9.04 on the iBook. No amount of trying will get it to work with my iBook. I have an Artec 1236 usb that I use with my iMac.
